The ID-card support is functional for Mac since version 10.4 (Tiger).The necessary software and instructions are available at ideelabor.ee.
Possibilities:
- Use of electronic services using Safari and Firefox.
- Issuing of digital signatures in the DigiDoc portal and U-net.
- Signing and encryption of e-mails with Thunderbird and Mail.app.
- Participation in electronic voting.
