Windows ID-card driver

The Windows driver of the Estonian ID-card enables the use of the card in Windows applications, for example in Internet Explorer, DigiDoc Client, MS Office, Outlook Express, WinCrypt, Adobe Acrobat, etc.

In addition to the driver, the software package contains the ID-card utility program that enables reading of personal data of the ID-card owner, register certificates into the certificate storage of the system or save them in a file, change PIN and PUK codes, unlock a locked PIN and view the usage statistics of the card.

We recommend installing the ID-card driver with ID-installer. For installing the driver separately, you need to download it from here.
