Look@World Foundation

The Look@World Foundation was created in 2001 by ten major companies of Estonia in order to significantly increase the number of Internet users and thereby improve the living standards in Estonia as well as the country’s overall competitive position in Europe. Successful initiatives that have been carried out thus far include basic computer training for 100,000 persons, creation of the E-Kool environment and opening of more than 500 public Internet access points.

Today, the Look@World Foundation participates in the Infosecurity 2009 initiative that among other targets aims to increase the user friendliness of software and carry out informing and training activities relating to the ID-card.
