Trust services

A trust service is an electronic service that helps different parties make binding decisions. In the European Union, trust services include, for example, issuing identity certificates, life cycle management, providing time-stamping services, creating e-signatures, verifying e-signatures, storing e-signatures, e-data exchange services, and issuing certificates for web servers.
