ID-software version 3.11 has been released

ID-software version 3.11 has been released. This is a planned maintenance release, which contains many improvements and updates.

Digital signing with Finnish, Latvian and Lithuanian ID-cards has been significantly simplified. Unlike earlier versions it's not any more required to make additional configuration changes. Digital signature components for web browsers now also support Finnish, Latvian and Lithuanian ID-cards and allow e-service providers to offer their services to these ID-card holders.

Added support for Windows 10 and Ubuntu 15.04 operating systems. Windows 10 users should keep in mind that the new web browser Edge does not yet support digital signing with ID-card. Microsoft has planned to create the required smartcard-interface some time during this year.

DigiDoc3 client startup and Trust Service Status List (TSL) loading has been made more convenient. Users can now also choose if the phone number and personal id code will be remembered when using mobiil-ID.  Additionally a problem in Mac OS X has been fixed that occurred when sending digitally signed containers to email from DigiDoc3 client.
