The ID software version 3.12 has been released


On 1 February 2016 the ID software version 3.12 was released. It is a regular release that contains multiple improvements and fixes.

The latest ID sofware version is available for download at Mac OS X users will find the latest leiavad kõige uuema DigiDoc3 Client and ID card utility versions from App Store. Starting from this week users will will be able to automatically update their software to the latest version. We highly recommend to update your ID software.
One of the important changes delivered in the new release is related to digital signing. Starting from the ID software 3.12 documents can only be signed in the BDOC and ASiC-E formats. It will still be possible to open documents in the DDOC format, however you will not be able to neither create new DDOC documents nor add signatures to previously created DDOC documents. Upon opening a file signed in the DDOC format the notification message informing of the old Digidoc container is displayed.
The central configuration management has been added. It allows to update user software configuration settings from the server of the Information System Authority (RIA). The ID software installer for Windows has been significantly changed - it is now possible to choose which components to install. The last change is most important for corporate users (instructions for admins are available here).

ID-software version 3.12 supports the following op. systems:

• Windows 7 SP1, 8.1 and 10
• Mac OS X 10.9, 10.10 and 10.11
• Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and 15.10
• Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012

• Windows: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome;
• Mac OS X: Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome;
• Linux: Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome.
