Mozilla Firefox continuously asks for for PIN code while using digital stamp

If your computer has an Aladdin’s USB crypto token with the digital stamp issued by AS Sertifitseerimiskeskus, then with Mozilla Firefox it may often repeatedly ask for a PIN code for the digital stamp.

Follow these steps to solve this issue:

  1. Unplug the USB crypto token and open Mozilla Firefox
  2. In Mozilla Firefox choose "Tools > Options > Advanced > Encryption > Security Devices"
  3. In the opened window find and choose “eToken”, click on the “Unload” button on the right and confirm with "OK".

After that plug the USB crypto token back into USB slot. Mozilla Firefox should no longer repeatedly prompt you to enter PIN for the digital stamp.
