Allowing plugins necessary for Google Chrome (Token Signing) via Active Directory

To use the ID card with Google Chrome, it is necessary to allow the use of the Token Signing plugin.

Settings: Configuration of the Google Chrome Token Signing plugin with Active Directory

The necessary templates (adm, admx, adml) must be downloaded and configured first of all in order to configure the plugins required for signing with an ID-card in Google Chrome, i.e. the Token Signing plugin, via the Active Directory policy. Download the Active Directory templates.

Then do as follows:

  • find and change the policy settings  Computer Configuration Policies Administrative Templates  Google Google Chrome Extensions, where you need to double-click on Configure the list of force-installed extensions
  • in the window that opened, make sure that Enabled is active, click Show and make sure that the value is ckjefchnfjhjfedoccjbhjpbncimppeg;https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx
