This Sertifitseerimiskeskus developer newsletter contains important information regarding new ID-software version and soon to be renewed Mobiil-ID service. Also you will find information regarding changes to ID-software development and on how to test new SK time-stamping service.  

Newsletter is being distributed by email and is also made available as a news article on the id.ee website.

Important information for developers

  • Next ID-software release (version 3.10) will be published at the latest in thebeginning of March. Detailed information regarding changes and testing procedure can be found here.
  • BDOC format transition instructions for DigiDocService users can be found here.

  • At the end of last year the ID-software development was migrated to GitHub environment. More information can be found here.
  • New Java library - DigiDoc4j for digital signing is now available for integrators. More information can be found here.
  • New Mobiil-ID solution is now ready to be tested in your applications. Instructions can be found here.

News

  • At the end of last year Police and Border Guard Board started using new 3.5 version ID-card chip application. Did you know that this update requires ID-software renewal and you should also review all applications that communicate directly with ID-card? Read more! 
  • Order test cards with new chip application here!
  • Starting from 01.01.2015 all personal certificates use SHA-256 hash algorithm to ensure highest security. It's important to check if information systems have SHA-256 support.  Read more here.
