Digital signing in the BDOC/ASiC formats and digital signature validity check is disrupted in DigiDoc3 Client (Solved!)

The error is solved in the ID-software version 3.12, please download new version from installer.id.ee. Mac OS X users should download the latest DigiDoc3 client from Apple App Store.

From 22 January 16:55 loading Trust Service List certificates issued by European Commission to Digidoc3 Client has not been working properly.

Because of the disruption with loading the Trust Service List, some Digidoc3 Client (v3.10 and newer) users have had problems with digital signing in the BDOC/ASiC-E formats as well as checking validity of digital signatures.

Upon launching DigiDoc3 Client the following message is displayed:

If you click on "Jah" (Yes), you will be able to digitally sign and check validity of digital signatures. in this case Digidoc3 Client will be allowed to use the expired trusted list.  

If you click on "Ei" (No):

  • You will not be able to digitally sign documents with DigiDoc3 Client. The following error message will be displayed:

  • DigiDoc3 Client will not be able to check validity of digital signatures. The signature status will be displayed as"Teadmata" (Unknown).

The error will be solved in the ID card software 3.12.
