From 1 July 2016 the users of the DigiDoc4j library may encounter problems with the TSL download

08.07.2016

Because of the migration to the new TSL version on 1 July 2016 and renewal of the certificates used for signing of the TSL, the users of the DigiDoc4j library may encounter problems with downloading the TSL lists and checking the trustworthiness of the certificates.

The users of the DigiDoc4j 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 libraries can solve problems with the TSL download by temporarily using the TSL that was valid before 1 July 2016. The respective instructions can be found on the DigiDoc4j library's GitHub wiki page: https://github.com/open-eid/digidoc4j/wiki/Questions-&-Answers#how-to-survive-with-an-older-digidoc4j-version-and-tsl-version-5

The long-term solution suggests that you migrate to the DigiDoc4j library 1.0.4, where the TSL download issue has been solved. After migration you need to turn on updating of the TSL cache. The new library version is available in the DigiDoc4j Github environment (https://github.com/open-eid/digidoc4j/releases).
