NB! to solve the issue please update the Firefox to version 60.0.2, releaseed 06.06.2018.
If your computer is running on macOS op. system and if you are using Mozilla Firefox, then starting from Firefox v60.0.1 or later browser does crash, while your eID card is in reader. Due to that currently it is not possible to use eID card with Mozilla Firefox in macOS.
eID card can be used with Google Chrome in macOS 10.12 or 10.13 (read more: https://www.id.ee/?id=38512).
Safari does support eID card, if macOS is 10.13.4 or later.
macOS 10.11 users must update op. system or use possible alternatives, such as mobile-ID or Smart-ID.
