This week, the new Google Chrome version 65 was made available. Mac owners who use operation systems macOS 10.13 High Sierra or 10.12 Sierra can now use their ID-cards for authentication and giving digital signatures in Chrome. OS X 10.11 El Capitan does not support new Apple driver and user's should use Mozilla Firefox.
To avoid any issues while using your ID-card, make sure that you are using the latest version of Google Chrome and have installed the components required for online authentication and digital signing with your ID-card. The required components can be found here: https://installer.id.ee/.
After installing the required components, plugins have to be activated. The instructions for doing so are available here.
