The Information System Authority (RIA) has completed the new version 3.0.0 of RIA DigiDoc for Android devices. This is a generational update – the application is based on a modern technology platform, while retaining the existing core functionalities and business logic of the application. The new DigiDoc will be available to users via Google Play store within a week.
The core components of the application have been redesigned to provide a more reliable, secure, intuitive, and user-friendly solution for signing and encrypting documents.
In addition to the new platform and changes to the main components of the application, RIA DigiDoc Android version 3.0.0 includes the following updates and changes:
- modernised user interface and architecture
- added NFC functionality for decrypting envelopes and in the My eID management tool
- added Android 16 support
- removed Android 12 support

RIA DigiDoc is a free mobile application designed for digitally signing documents on a smartphone using an ID card, mobile ID, or Smart ID. In addition to digital signing, the RIA DigiDoc app can be used to check the information and validity of ID card certificates and change PINs and PUKs.
