Check the version of the DigiDoc4j library in your information systems and update it to the latest version, which is currently Digidoc4j 6.1.0, as soon as possible.
Estonian Information System Authority specifies that digital signing with older versions of the Digidoc4j library (5.1.0 to 6.0.1) will continue after February 4, 2026, and the previous warning about possible malfunctions no longer applies. The malfunctions were related to the non-acceptance of older DigiDoc4j libraries and RSA keys below 3000 bits. SK ID Solutions will use 3072-bit RSA keys in the future, which means that digital signing will also work with older library versions.
However, regular updates of the libraries are necessary to ensure reliability and compatibility with future changes (including the update of the European Union Trusted List on 29 April 2026). The changes do not affect end users of the The Digital Signature Gateway Service (SiGa) or DigiDoc applications.
