Today, on 18 August, the Information System Authority (RIA) released version 26.7 of the ID-software, which brings a number of security and reliability improvements and paves the way for the next major changes in the software’s life cycle. This update is part of the regular development work on the ID-software.
The new version includes a number of improvements to security and system reliability. The core libraries of the software have been updated and various components have been enhanced to minimise potential security risks and ensure a more stable user experience.
RIA is grateful to the active security community for their cooperation and responsible reporting. The community’s contribution helps to identify and resolve potential vulnerabilities more quickly, making the software more secure.
From version 26.7 onwards, the DigiDoc4 application is available only in Estonian and English, so that development and maintenance resources can be directed to ensuring the quality of the most widely used languages.
