DigiDoc4 Client error: Please check your computer time

The below error can be displayed when signing in DigiDoc4 Client.

Error details:

Error will be displayed in DigiDoc4 Client when computer time differs from the validity confirmation service time.

To fix this error, please make sure that your computer's system clock is set to the correct time, date and region.

To change the time, date and region a in Windows: click on the Windows logo in the down-left screen and type "Control panel". Open it. After entering Control Panel, open "Date and Time".

To change the time, date and region in macOS: Open “Spotlight Search” and type “System Settings” in the search. A new window will open on the screen where you can select "General". The General option has “Language & Region” and “Date & Time”.

To change the time, date and region in Ubuntu: click on the "Show applications" menu on the down-left screen and in search bar type "Date and Time". Before making changes, make sure Automatic changes option is turned OFF.

If the error persists, check the following:

  • If your device has an active VPN connection, disconnect it and follow the above steps again.
  • Reboot the device and check that all administrative and antivirus software, if any, is disabled.
